This year is a year of jubilations and celebrations as we are commemorating the Golden Jubilee year of Goa Vidyaprasarak Mandal‘s Smt. Nelly Joildo Aguiar Higher Secondary School Farmagudi, Ponda Goa. We rejoice at the Golden Jubilee of our hallowed temple of Learning. The class elections for the position of Class Representative and Assistant Class Representative were held on 29th June 2024 by the Class teachers and the Assistant Class teachers.

The election has always being carried out harmoniously through secret ballot voting at the age of 15 or 16, or 17 years in every higher secondary although it could be a challenging situation to the standard XI the students to elect a class leader whom she has just met but it is something they enjoy experiencing it. It is carried out in a democratic manner by the casting a secret vote wherein the counting is done on the same day and the results announced in the presence of the class.
